Day 01 – Airport / Kandy

Arrive  in  Sri  Lanka.  You  will  be  met  by  George  Steuart  representatives  at  Colombo  Airport  and transferred to a Hotel in Kandy.

Day 02 –Kandy 1st Cricket Match

After Breakfast transfer to a Cricket Ground in Kandy for 1st Cricket Match. Lunch and Water provided during the Match. Return back to the hotel Topaz, Kandy once the Match finishes.

 Day 03 – Tea Plantation and Temple of Tooth Relic

Enjoy breakfast. In the morning visit to a tea plantation and visit Giragama Tea Factory in Hill country.

Tea production in Sri Lanka, formerly Ceylon, is of high importance to the Sri Lankan economy and the world market. The country is the world's fourth largest producer of tea and the industry is one of the country's main sources of foreign exchange and a significant source of income for labourers, with tea accounting for 12% of the GDP, generating roughly $700 million annually.

Kandy is one of the most scenic cities in Sri Lanka. It also the home of The Temple of the Tooth Relic , one of the most venerable places for the Buddhist community of Sri Lanka and all around the world. It was declared a world heritage site by UNESCO in 1988

 

 

Return back to the hotel and Overnight stay in Topaz Hotel, Kandy

Day 04 –Kandy 2nd Match

After Breakfast transfer to a Cricket Ground in Kandy for 2nd Cricket Match. Lunch and Water provided during the Match. Return back to the hotel Topaz, Kandy once the Match finishes.

Day 05 – Pinnawala / Colombo

Proceed towards Colombo after Breakfast, en route visiting the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage. Pinnawala elephant Orphanage

Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage is an orphanage, nursery and breeding ground for wild Asian elephants located at Pinnawala village. Pinnawala is notable for having the largest herd of captive elephants in the world.

The orphanage was originally founded in order to afford care and protection for many of the orphaned wild elephants found wandering in and near the forests of Sri Lanka. It was established in 1975.

Continue to Colombo and check-in to Hotel, Pegasus Reef.

Day 06 – Colombo 3rd Cricket Match

After  Breakfast  transfer  to  a  Cricket  Ground  in  Colombo  for  3rd   Cricket  Match.  Lunch  and  Water

provided during the Match. Return back to the hotel Pegasus reef once the Match finishes. Overnight stay at Pegasus reef, Colombo

Day 07 – Free Day at Pegasus reef

After Breakfast as your wish spend the free time. Overnight stay at Pegasus reef, Colombo

Day 08 – Colombo City Tour

After Breakfast Colombo City Tour and also as your Wish you could go for shopping. Colombo City Tour

Colombo is the business and commercial centre and the new capital is Sri Jayawardhanapura Kotte which is only a few miles away. Colombo was only a small seaport, which came into prominence in the

16th Century with the arrival of the Portuguese in 1505 and the development of it as a major Harbour during the British period and became the capital in 1815 after Kandy was ceded to the British. The remains of the buildings during the period and the Portuguese, Dutch and British rule are found in every area of the city. None of the Portuguese & Dutch fortifications are found today but some of their buildings and churches could be seen in the Fort & Pettah areas.

Day 9 – Bentota (Breakfast and Dinner)

Early breakfast and transfer to Beach hotel, Club Bentota.

Day 12 – Departure

After Breakfast transfer to the airport for the departure.

Transportation

Players will be Travel on a 33 Seated coach. Luggage will carry on in the same coach. English speaking

Bed and Breakfast Meals basis will be provided accordingly. When there’s a Cricket match Lunch and water will be provided for both teams free of cost (1.5 Lt Bottle of water provided, extra can be purchase at any Supermarket with the help of the Guide).

All fixtures are against school teams. Umpires, Scorers and all the tips and taxes involve with the Cricket
